An award-winning play featuring Rebecca Vaughan is coming to the Market Theatre.
Dyad Productions’ A Room of One’s Own will be performed in Ledbury on Friday, February 10 as part of a 40-venue tour of the UK and Ireland.
The play takes a wry, amusing, and incisive trip through the history of literature, feminism, and gender where you will meet Charlotte Brontë, Jane Austen, Aphra Behn, and Shakespeare's sister – Judith.
The company has previously graced the Market Theatre stage with Christmas Gothic, Female Gothic and Austen’s Women.
Paul Graham, the theatre’s artistic director, has seen them all both in Ledbury and at the Edinburgh Fringe, where Rebecca plays to capacity audiences every year.
“She is tremendous,” he said.
