HALO Leisure, which runs swimming pools and gyms across Herefordshire, is making changes as its energy bills more than double.
The registered charity has already put prices up for customers, both pay-as-you-go and monthly membership fees.
But now it is slashing the times its saunas and steam rooms are open in a bid to keep costs down.

In a notice displayed at Ledbury Swimming Pool, in Lawnside Road, the company said everyone was feeling the pinch of higher energy costs, and it was the same.
It said it was predicted energy prices across its Herefordshire sites would rise by £1 million from £700,000 in 2023 so it needed to "make some essential energy reduction tweaks".
It said one of the biggest changes would be the sauna and steam room opening times.
