A BANNED Herefordshire man will spend Christmas in custody after breaking his restraining order by posting on Facebook.
Marek Olesky was convicted two counts of harassment by breach of a restraining order after entering not guilty pleas when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford for trial in December.
The court heard from prosecutor Paul John that the 37-year-old had, without reasonable excuse, published a post on Facebook between August 31 and September 7, which he was prohibited from doing by a restraining order imposed by magistrates in Hereford on May 24.

He had also, without reasonable excuse, indirectly contacted a woman he was prohibited from contacting by publishing a post on Facebook between August 31 and September 7.
The case was adjourned for a pre-sentencing report to be carried out by the probation service and Olesky, who is of River View in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, was remanded in custody ahead of his next hearing.
He will appear before magistrates in Hereford for sentencing on January 3.
