The sister of a teenager who died in a Ledbury car crash says her family are “living in an ongoing nightmare”.
Molly Stone died in hospital on Tuesday, November 8, after being injured in a car crash in the early hours of the previous morning.
The 19-year-old had been taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham on Monday after a car crashed into a derelict building between Ledbury and the Trumpet crossroads.
Two people were arrested following the crash.
Now Abbie Brooks has started a GoFundMe page to help pay for her sister’s funeral costs.
Starting the online fundraiser, she said: “On Monday 7th November, Molly was involved in a car accident not far from home, and sadly passed away from her injuries in the early hours of the following morning.

“As a family, we are devastated and living in an ongoing nightmare.
“Molly was the kindest, happiest, most innocent soul who would forever go out of her way to help people. She would do anything for anyone and a send off that does her justice is the least she deserves.
“Planning a funeral for our daughter and sister is never anything we saved for, nor did we think we’d have to do. Therefore, any donations at this time are truly appreciated and we cannot explain how grateful we are.
“Loving her changed our lives, and losing her did the same. Forever our angel, forever nineteen.”
Fundraiser for Molly Stone raises thousands
At the time of writing, £5,665 had been raised, surpassing the family’s initial target of £2,000. If you’d like to donate, you can go to www.gofundme.com/f/molly-stone
A number of tributes have been left on the page, including from all at Bliss Cleaning Services, who donated £800 and described themselves as Molly’s “work family”.
One donor said: “Molly was a special part of many lives, she will be truly missed.”
Another added: “I’m so sorry for your loss Abbie. Molly was such a sweet, kindhearted girl.”
John Masefield High School, where Molly spent seven years as a pupil, also paid tribute to her this week.
“She was always laughing and enjoying the company of others and was a role model for positivity and friendship. She always put others ahead of herself and was an inspiring young lady,” the school said in a statement.
“She was a hugely valued member of the school during her time with us and we are thinking of her family and friends during such a tragic and difficult time.”
