A church near Ledbury is holding a fundraising event following the refurbishment of its bells.
New toilets and a kitchen have also been installed at St John the Baptist Church in Eastnor.
After a year without the bells, the church’s ringers took the opportunity to ring them half-muffled for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II and to celebrate the beginning of the reign of King Charles III.
In order to help with the huge expense of the installations, a musical evening is taking place on Friday, October 7, at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £10 per person, payable on the door.
The programme consists of an organ recital and a four-in-hand handbell concert, something many people will never have seen before.
