A LOCAL horticultural group in Ledbury is organising a coffee morning for the community.
The Ledbury Flower Club is hosting a coffee morning this Saturday, where attendees can learn more about flowers, take part in activities and have cakes and hot drinks.
Chris Lynch, chairwoman of the group, is hoping the coffee morning will help bring some new members.
She said: "Our Flower club was set up nearly twenty years ago, and like a lot of local groups, we are finding it hard to attract new supporters.
"The idea to hold a coffee morning was agreed by members to help raise our profile.
"Held at a central location in St Katherine’s Hall, we will give visitors the chance to enjoy homemade cake and coffee whilst finding out more about our programme of events."
The event will give attendees the chance to watch a mini flower demonstration, make something floral, pick up leaflets and information about flower arranging and the chance to buy or subscribe to the Flower Arranger magazine with back copies at reduced prices.
There will also be a raffle held at the event, for the chance to win flower arranging books.
