Emergency services including the air ambulance were called and a road closed for three hours following a crash involving a car and a motorbike.
Crews were called just after 10.30am on Saturday (June 11) after a crash on the A449/B4218 at Chances Pitch, between Ledbury and Colwall.
“The Ledbury crew removed the door of the vehicle to aid and assist with treatment from West Midlands Ambulance Service HQ and Midlands Air Ambulance Charity,” a spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said.
“Ledbury also used their Environmental Grab Pack to reduce the environmental impact from vehicle fluids. West Mercia Police were in attendance and helped to manage traffic and perform their investigations.”
The motorbike rider, a 28-year-old man, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and the two occupants of the car were also assessed at the scene.
The road was closed for about three hours on Saturday following the incident.
