A dog and its owner have been attacked by a Staffordshire Bull Terrier in Ledbury.
Police are appealing for information following the attack, in which the dog walker suffered “significant injuries”.
They are particularly interested in identifying the owner of the brown and white Bull Terrier, a man described as being white, around five foot 10 inches tall, around 45-50 years old with a beard.
The attack happened at about 9.30am on Monday, May 9 on a footpath that runs from the Full Pitcher roundabout towards Little Marcle Road.
“This footpath leads through a wooded area behind the Water Reclamation Works and is known locally as ‘The Plantation’,” said a spokesperson for West Mercia Police.
“This Bull Terrier has attacked another dog and his owner, causing significant injuries to the dog owner.”
Anyone who saw the man walking the Bull Terrier on Monday, May 9 is asked to contact West Mercia Police quoting reference 22/55657/22.
