ON Saturday, Ledbury Carnival Association welcomed their Carnival
Princess for 2022.
Evie, a 10-year-old pupil at Ledbury Primary School enjoys singing, dancing and Gymnastics. She follows in the footsteps of her Great-Grandmother, who was the Football Club Princess in the 50's.
She is looking forward to a year representing Ledbury and the Carnival Association. She is the first to wear the new blue satin cloak made by Anita at the Forest Sewing Room, in Ledbury's Homend Mall.
For the first time in its history, three attendants were chosen to assist Eva in her role.
Nine-year-old, Mila, also a pupil at Ledbury Primary School. She spends her time doing art and creative activities.
Lily-May, an 8-year-old pupil of Ashperton Primary School loves trampolining, gymnastics and fishing with her Dad.
Youngest of all is Florence who will celebrate her 8th birthday on Friday. Having recently moved to the area with her family, she is looking forward to visiting new places and making friends with the Princess and her Attendants.
2022 has seen several changes.
The princess Co-Ordinators Sarah and Alesa are sharing the role. The regalia of the Princess is now Royal Blue, and for the first time in its history, three attendants have been chosen.
