HAVE you captured a brilliant photograph of Ledbury Carnival in the past?
Organisers have launched a new competition for all amateur photographers in Ledbury.
So if you have a great image of carnival fun over the years then please enter this brilliant competition.
The competition is in memory of the late Andy Ward, former manager of the Talbot Hotel in New Street, Ledbury.
Mr Ward, who retired shortly before the onset of COVID, was a keen supporter of Ledbury Carnival taking hundreds of photographs over the years.
The competition is open to any amateur photographer in the area who may submit up to three photographs of any previous Carnival in either black and white or colour, by May 31. Judging will take place by popular vote on Social Media with the winner announced on July 1.
The Talbot has kindly donated a voucher for a ‘Meal for Two’ to be given alongside the new Trophy.
It is hoped that the new Trophy, which is currently being engraved, will be on display in the window of J B Gaynan & Son during the coming days.
If you have any Carnival photos you are particularly pleased with, please look at our website :
