Tennis Tasters for Girls at Ledbury Tennis Club

A fabulous free event, is taking place at Ledbury Tennis Club on Saturday 23rd April, for girls between 5 and 12 years old. The Club will be hosting a special afternoon “She Rally” from 2.30 to 4 p.m. supported by professional coaches from Malvern Tennis Academy.

Designed to offer a popular introduction to the joys of playing tennis, the session will include fun activity circuits and simple tennis skills. Apart from suitable footwear (trainers are ideal) no other equipment or experience is required, and parents are encouraged to join in!

These sessions are part of a national initiative to encourage more girls to take up the sport, spearheaded by Judy Murray. Judy, the mother of Wimbledon Champion Andy and his brother, seven-time Grand Slam doubles champion Jamie, says “By rallying together, we can create opportunities in tennis from the grassroots up.”
