A WELSH TV and radio celebrity is set to visit Hereford this week.
Aled Jones, who flummoxed viewers of the Masked Singer for several weeks earlier in the year disguised as a traffic cone, has had an extensive career in TV and radio.
As well as having his own show on Classic FM, he has hosted several TV shows including Escape to the Country and Songs of Praise and appeared in the second series of Saturday night favourite, Strictly Come Dancing.
He will be at Hereford Cathedral on Friday performing music from his 2020 album "Blessings" supported by fellow classical singer Carly Paoli.
The concert forms part of a nationwide tour of cathedrals, taking in places such as Manchester, Nottingham, Liverpool, Cardiff, and Durham.
After beginning his singing career at the age of 12, Mr Jones became one of the world’s most successful boy sopranos.
His career was launched by the iconic "Walking in the Air" soundtrack to the Christmas family film, The Snowman.
He has since released over 40 albums and has more than 40 silver, gold, and platinum discs.
Aled Jones is at Hereford Cathedral on Friday, March 11 from 7.30pm. For more information, click here.
