Ledbury Fire Station were called to the fire at the Catholic Church of the Most Holy Trinity in New Street at 11.58am.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose to put out the fire and cool both the plants in the surrounding area and the mains gas inlet housing next to the vehicle.
