MANY people will be familiar with Harry Sparrey.
Harry is the man most people will remember seeing at Ledbury’s big events and celebrations capturing moments on camera.
Harold - or David as he is formally known - got the nickname of Harry when he was a young lad and it has stuck ever since.
He can always be relied upon to capture Ledbury’s quirky side in his wonderful photographs.
All his pictures are taken on his trusty Samsung phone.
The 80-year-old describes himself as a storyteller and he has always been interested in photography.
When the lockdowns were imposed Harry found himself with more time on his hands and he began taking his photographs seriously.
Harry said: “I have lived in Ledbury for around 30 years.
“I have always been interested in photography, but started seriously again just before lockdown.
“I mainly take images of local Herefordshire and Worcestershire subjects, as a storyteller who covers local events and pictures of quirky details of local interest.
“I use only my trusty Samsung S8 phone camera und never use flash or expensive editing equipment or programmes.
“I am now 80 years old.”
We are very pleased Harry takes his photographs and we wish him all the best for the many more years of snapping ahead.,
