HEREFORDSHIRE is embracing its spooky side, with many ghostly events taking place in the run-up to Halloween.
Here are a few events taking place across the county this week, ahead of Halloween on Sunday, October 31.
Ralph Court Gardens
The event is running from October 17 to 31 at Ralph Court Gardens, Edwyn Ralph, Bromyard.
Daytime activities take place between 10am and 5pm, with the evening's events between 6pm and 8.30pm.
Ralph Court Halloween Event is now in its sixth year and brings together a haunted house, clown zone, alien experience, theatre performance (selected nights) and light show.
Suitable for all ages, this family event is not to be missed. Restaurant open all day and every evening offering ghastly dishes and treats.
The Nest
The Nest, at Little Verzons Farm in Ledbury, has a few events on to mark Halloween.
Forest Folklore takes place between October 25-31 from 10am to 3pm.
People are invited to take a walk through eerie woodland and spot spooky stories hanging from the trees.
Visitors will follow the paths through for some twisted tales in the trees to get themselves in the Halloween spirit.
The Nest is also hosting pumpkin picking and carving this week between 10am and 3pm.
For £5, visitors can leave the mess behind and take home petrifying pumpkins for display.
Visitors can also enjoy alpaca visits, monster hunts and other chills and thrills.
Ledbury Ghost Walk
The ghost walk in Ledbury will take place between 7 and 9pm on October 31. The walk starts in Ledbury town centre.
It is advised that the event is not suitable for young children and any child attending must be accompanied by an adult.
Ticket for adults are £9, while tickets for 10 to 15 year olds are £4.50.Ha
Halloween Craft Workshop
This event is taking place at Rodd Court in Presteigne between 2 and 4pm on Tuesday, October 26.
This Halloween craft workshop is suitable for children aged five and over.
Tickets are £2.50 per child.
Pumpkin Trail
Croft Castle, a national trust property near Leominster, is hosting a pumpkin trail between October 23 and 31, from 10am until 4pm.
Visitors can pick up a trail sheet from reception and head to the walled garden where pumpkin monsters await.

The Witch's Kitchen Trail
This family trail runs throughout Halloween half term, from October 23-31, between 10.30am and 4.30pm
Visitors to Weir Garden, a National Trust property in Swainshill, have the chance to search for missing ingredients hidden around the garden to help create a Halloween-inspired potion.
