NEWENT's Charlotte Dujardin became the most decorated female British Olympian of all time after claiming bronze in the freestyle individual dressage event in Tokyo.
It was her sixth medal of her career in her third Olympic appearance and now she goes one clear of rower Dame Katherine Grainger (5).
Dujardin held bronze position after her performance was rewarded with a score of 88.543 from the judges before the German Dorothee Schneider took to the stage as the last rider of the final.
It was a nervous wait for the Brit as the results came in but after Schneider could only manage 79.432, Dujardin was filmed celebrating with the rest of the Team GB camp.
