REDMARLEY resident, Margaret Meredith recently opened the gates to her stunning garden for one day, in support of the women's cancer charity, the ‘Eve Appeal’ and Tewksbury Hospital.
The garden, featuring flowers, shrubs, fishponds, ornamental sculptures and trees, was transformed into an Eden for the Eve Appeal.
Fund-raising ideas included refreshments, raffles, horticultural sales and sales of household items and garden furniture.
A pink and white iced sponge cake decorated with the words “All about Eve” was auctioned for £20 and a colourful hand crafted blanket sold for £18.
The total amount raised was more than £500.
