THE pupils of Much Marcle Primary School’s choir are celebrating after being crowned as Junior Choir of the Year at the Herefordshire Performing Arts Festival.
The children were commended by the judge at the Herefordshire Performing Arts Festival 2016, when she awarded them her first ‘90’ points of the competition.
Head teacher Lorna Harrison added: "They were then the proud recipients of the Strathallen Cup, after finishing first in the School Choirs Key Stage 2 Category.
"The children returned to the stage at The Courtyard on Saturday evening to perform in the gala concert where they were presented with the Junior Choir of the Year award."
