YOUNGSTERS at Redmarley Primary can count on success when it comes to sums, having recently triumphed in a maths challenge against ten other schools.
The annual Year 5 Maths Competition took place recently at the John Masefield High School in Ledbury.
Redmarley's successful, number-crunching team consisted of Bethany Cooper, Will Joslyn, Toby Baker and Elizabeth Skene.
A spokesman said: "The competition is designed to promote mathematical dexterity, teamwork and communication skills.
"Throughout the day the children took part in six rounds of activities based on number logic. The children had an exciting day and thoroughly enjoyed all the activities particularly the logic round where they achieved full marks."
