A 20-year-old from Dymock has launched his own t-shirt campaign to help stamp out racism in football, and top players are queuing up to assist him.

Dan Tennant-Ralphs, of Walnut Tree Farm, has managed to secure interviews with top players, and other soccer stars have agreed to wear the t-shirts that Dan has posted to them and to post photographs back for his website.

Dan, a student at Cardiff University who is studying Italian and Spanish, is hoping to eventually launch a new charity with the message One Game For All, Without Racism' and one idea he has is to encourage leading players to go into schools and talk to young people, to help nip any racist ideas in the bud.

Dan said: "I have been a big soccer fan for years and I despise racism, like most people."

His observation of occasional racism at games he has attended over the years led him to decide to do something about the problem.

Dan said: "In recent weeks, I have been speaking personally to such names in football as Gabriel Clarke, Steve Bruce, Ron Atkinson, Jon Champion, Peter Reid, Glen Hoddle, Graham Taylor, Clive Tyldesley, Terry Venables, David Pleat, Mervyn Day and Gary Lewin."

Well-known players who have agreed to be photographed in the t-shirts include Theo Walcott, James Millner and Mark Noble.Former English cricketer, David Lawrence and the Harry Potter film star, Ray Fearon, have also been photographed in Dan's anti-racist shirts.
